Air Sweeper Analysis and Findings
Published: May 6, 2015
Welcome to the page where I will inform you of how to properly and effectively use the Air Sweeper in your base design. If you haven't already, please check out my [Weaknesses to Anti-3 Star Bases]. This page was made when the Air Sweeper was first introduced, and does not contain content with 2 Air sweeper update. The logic still applies, but how to use it would be alittle more different.
Three Different Uses of Air Sweeper
There are currently three ways which Air Sweep can be useful, to Deter, to Protect, and to Stall.
The main function of the Air Sweeper of course is to push away flying troops through it's 'air wave' and protect the buildings in front, but through this action there are other intentions which are infused with this. |
How to Effectively Use Air Sweeper
Since the fact that the Air Sweeper only covers 1/3 it's radius, that would mean you would have to take care of the remaining 2/3s of it's radius.
There are 3 elements with what you need to consider: 1/3 Protection Zone 2/3 Unprotected Zone Back side of the Air Sweeper All of which needs to be considered. |
How it Affects Anti-3 Star Bases
With the current new building, most bases will be effected by the change. The most important bases though are the impacts on the Anti-3 Star bases.
Here is my insight towards how the Air Sweepers are being used for the 'elite' bases. |
