The Y Shaped Wizard Tower

My first solution based on what I feel is correct (one of my concepts anyways) is to make is so that enemies would have to have their loons travel extra distances as well as extra targets for the loons have to attack first before reaching the AD.  I've tapped into this area for my Metaki Series #5 - Arrowtip and I made it alot more present in my Metaki Series #6 I did some explaining with the "Wizard's Pressure" in Metaki Series #5.

The way to do it is to use the potential of teslas (will in the future dedicate a page to it) since they are so small, can be placed anywhere, as well as the fact that they are still considered as 'defense target' to delay and add extra 'steps' and travel time, in which loon must do.

Even let's say that tesla outside of the wizard Tower isn't there, they will wouldn't be able to loon the wizard tower due to the fact that the Wizard Tower is 2 tiles behind the point defense (archer tower/cannon).  If they want to loon the wizard tower, they can only target the outside buildings.

With this set up, The Wizard Tower isn't touching the AD, so even if they send the hound, it will not attract the attention of the wizard tower.  The Wizard Tower has full range on the point defenses so when they loon the archerT/Cannon, they will be sprayed by the Wizard Tower.

The Advantage of this set up is it separates the Lavaloons from the loon group, and taking more time for loons to travel and lavas gets no protection from loons, and loons gets no protect from hounds.  Lavas will get killed more quickly as they are more deep within the base covered by other ADs.

The Weakness of the common Meta-bases is that most bases are within 2-3 steps and a rage that leads directly to the AD.  So they only need to drop 4 loons, and it'll go from point defense > WizardT > AD.  Or even worse is from Point defense > AD.  Only requiring a rage to reach.  The loons will be at full health due to the fact that the Wizard Tower in the common meta-bases aren't out of reach of AD and aggroed to lava hound.

This is my path towards creating Anti-lavaloon bases which is to isolate the wizard from the AD, give the base more volume towards how much the loons have to travel.

Conflicting Ratio with the Y Shaped Wizard Tower
Of course this Y shaped Wizard Tower has it's weaknesses.  Please check out this page about why the Y shaped design has a conflicting ratio and why it's not really the best path to take.
