Brainstorm Concepts and Ideas - September 2015

For the Scenario Concepts/Ideas, it's concepts which have been thought of to be viable, but is not really a good idea to put in a base.  There are more cons or hard approach to these concepts which make it so it's not really cost effective or even worth investing into.  But still, these are still options available for those that want to develop more further into the bases.  Some concepts are well work well, but some concepts here won't so take the ones in this section with a grain of salt.

Barbarian King Aggro Queen to Wall

Picture
A concept by Eric, which he explains with this concept that for example in this scenario, the enemy places a wizard at the Gold Mine (as a funnel) heads towards the builder's hut, then towards the Gold Storage.  When the wizard comes close enough the Def-BK will come and kill the wizard.  The moment the wizard gets hit by the Def-BK, the Ene-Queen will aggro to the King.  The problem is, the Def-King's radius is NOT attracted to the Ene-Queen so it walks back towards it's platform.  The Ene-Queen comes in and chases the BK but since it went out of range, the enemy Queen will then switch targets and attack the wall instead.  This concept is confirmed to functionally work as the Ene-Queen does in fact switch to the wall.

Targetting the Funnel Wizard with Skeleton Trap

Picture
Here is a concept which I have thought of.  Since for example you need two wizards to funnel in your troops, if you put it away from the defense location where the Golems drop, but put it in the location where the single funnel wizard is, it could result in the skeleton trap 'ambushing' the wizard.  If for example this image, I place it in this location, they will have to spent an extra troop, or a replay in order to dismantle this trap.  Of course doing this trap would result in a weaker dps, and could be a waste of the skeleton traps if they don't attack from that direction so it's not as recommended.  Which is why you MUST give the person as the only option to attack this base from. This concept isn't viable tbh...

There needs to be minimum 10+ Sections

Picture
This is something that was briefly talked about when it came to my "Arrow" and my "Ovaki" design, was the fact that there aren't enough compartments as well as this example base by OneHive, showing.  The reason why there needs to be minimum 11 compartments is that if it's any lower, it allows more room for golem combos to walk through a big section of the areas and what the previous generations of Anti-3 star TH9 bases had, was the fact that compartments were about 1-2 away from each other, so a person's troops had to break through two layers of wall to reach the other compartments.  But with now the expanding base designs, it allows more travel room for ground base troops.
Picture
For example, in this image (also works with Ovaki and Arrowtip), if they three golem drop the top section, and put one jump in the middle, they have full access to 1/2 the base and the golems would still be some-what intact while the back end troops are in perfect health.  The queen won't be doing ANY damage before it's too late, and by that point, it doesn't really matter since the remaining defenses could be back end hogged/looned.  Such a reason why more compartments is typically better, but with the expanding bases, they aren't really going to be easy (unless you take in account the next sections).

This EXACTLY what happened in [Powerbang Gaming War Recap #87] timestamp at 3:34.

X-Bows as HP Tanks

Picture
There is a few section within this page that deals with X-bows.

There is a small consensus that X-bows are just longer range Archer Towers and they just do the same amount as Archer Towers, so allowing them to be used not for the core but for the outer areas would possibility help (see The [Outer second-layer Xbow] for more info).

Within this idea, it is made because of the fact that xbows have MASSIVE amount of hp points, so if you pair that with teslas, it allows them to kill hogs way better. This is alittle more of my idea for which compared to the Xbow being inside, which allows spell placement (whether it's rage or heal), if you put it far outwards, it could result in an earlier release of the spell, or a spell that needs to be dropped soon as it's being targeted.  When it comes to surgical hogs/loon drops, they always target the first outer defense 2-3 hogs per defense, so using this set up, where the Xbow is the main target as the shield, the two teslas would be hitting it off between loons/3-4 small pack of hogs.
